"Dear Family and Friends,

I have taken on an incredible challenge. This September, a group of wonderful women and myself will be walking 60 miles over the course of three days here in Seattle to support the fight in ending breast cancer.  We are calling our team 'Cougs for Boobs' since many of us graduated from Washington State University and are very proud Cougar Alumni.

Every 74 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. That's why I'm walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer.  I walk for all the women in my family, for all my wonderful girlfriends, for my beautiful nieces. Most especially, I walk for my daughter, Skylar.
